Prayer to help you get through the day
Lord,
“Thank you for waking me up and thank you for being so good to me. I love you and really need you Lord to make it through my day.
I pray and ask that you give me the strength and energy that I need, to complete the day.
Bless me to have a positive mindset even in the midst of wickedness and negativity. Keep me safe, sane, and of a sound mind.
Help me minister to others who need to hear of your goodness. And help me to be a walking representation of your ways for people who need to see your goodness.
I ask that you quiet my mind and spirit and fill me with your everlasting peace. Guide me and order my steps. Keep me from hurt harm and temptation. Go before me and bless my day.
Let the small things count today and bring me the biggest delight. Something as small as seeing a baby smile would make my day, Lord. Teach me to appreciate the small things in life.
Have mercy on me Heavenly Father and forgive me for my sins. I ask that you hear my prayer and that it does not return to me void Heavenly Father.”
In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
Prayer after having a long exhausting day
Lord,
“Thank you that today is over. It’s been a long tiring day. God, I feel drained and exhausted, but I pray that tomorrow be a much better day.
My cup is empty and I pray that you fill it back up. Feed me and nourish me with your love and your word. Restore my mind, body, heart, spirit, and soul. Anything that’s bothering me Lord, I pray that you remove it from my mind and heart.
Let distractions cease and keep me focused on what I should be focused on. Bless my attitude to be positive and not take offense to negativity.
Help me Lord, to learn to see the good in every person and situation. Give me patience to deal with the difficulties of life and difficult people.
I ask that tomorrow be much more easier for me to exist and happily make it through, and that I get excellent rest tonight so I can wake up refreshed and ready to tackle the day.”
In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
